« International standards for the techno-economic study of lithic productions in the Neolithic period » : last week for application

LIATEC, Namur University CNRS, UMR 7055 Prehistory and Technology Institute of Prehistoric Archaeology, Cologne University are pleased to announce a cycle of workshops dedicated to the circulation of lithic productions during the Neolithic entitled « International standards for the techno-economic study of lithic productions in the Neolithic period » to be held in 2019.

Three events will be organized:

Ø Namur (21-23rd march 2019) – New methods for raw material analysis and application in Benelux/North RhineWestphalia;

Ø Paris (25-27th june 2019) – Lithic technology: principles of analysis and application on Neolithic industries;

Ø Cologne (9-10th september 2019) – Quantitative Analysis and theoretical Approaches.

We draw your attention to the fact that the call for participation will close on January the 20^th. The number of places is limited in order to encourage exchanges between participants and practical observations.
